I think it’s the still the year 2020. Who knows what month or day of the week it is anymore?  We are each processing these ongoing, life-changing events in our own way and timing. There are good days and there are hard days, and everything you are feeling is valid and OK!

Growth is the inevitable byproduct of facing difficult times. It is an opportunity to learn what is really important—to truly appreciate and value what you have. Perhaps it’s also a chance to pause, question, and reevaluate everything in your life.

We don’t exactly have a road map for this. Many of us are muddling through the best we can in this challenging landscape.  Maintaining mental clarity and exercising discernment is key in the face of conflicting, evolving, and questionable information flooding our screens. While it is important to keep up with the news, it can make you feel overloaded, confused, and overwhelmed. Having a clear mind and an accurate picture of what is happening is necessary to safely navigate these times.

We all need a little help sometimes. I’d like to share my top crystal recommendations for mental clarity along with a simple crystal meditation that can positively support and shift you.

CLEAR QUARTZ

Clear Quartz radiates pure white light and contains the entire color spectrum—making it the most versatile crystal for clearing, healing, activation, and higher attunement. It can absorb, hold, clear, radiate, and regulate energy.

Clarity is what Clear Quartz brings to you. It balances the mental body--clearing confusion, excess mental energy, and distracting thoughts. It sharpens your mental faculties so that you can absorb and process new information.

Clear Quartz also stimulates the higher mind and psychic centers, easing the transfer of psychic information and intuitive impressions into your conscious awareness. It helps you tune into a higher signal so that you can receive clear and accurate spiritual guidance. Clear Quartz adjusts to your immediate needs and brings in whatever information and frequencies are most aligned with your highest good.

SODALITE

Sodalite stimulates the mental body and brings order and organization to energy, thoughts, and words. This makes it especially helpful in counteracting feelings of confusion or disorientation that can occur during uncertain times. 

Sodalite can clear old, rigid thought patterns that would block your ability to comprehend things in a newer and truer way. It opens your mind, while shifting your mental body into greater alignment with higher truth. MENTAL CLARITY CRYSTAL MEDITATION

Before you begin the meditation, write down a list of anything that is weighing on your mind—any concerns, unfinished tasks, or unresolved issues.

Cleanse the Clear Quartz and Sodalite, call in your higher self, and lie down comfortably.

Place the Clear Quartz above your head at the crown chakra. If you have a pointed or terminated Clear Quartz crystal, position it so that it is pointing down and directing the energy into your crown. Place the Sodalite at the third eye, located in the center of your forehead.

Focus on taking nice deep breaths and progressively relaxing your body, from head to toe.

Imagine a big helium balloon in front of you and visualize that you are placing your list of mind clutter into it. Feel the mental energy attached to your list exit your mind as it is absorbed into the balloon. Then allow the balloon to float into the sun, where the energy is transmuted.

Next, if you would like to gain clarity about a situation, question, or concern, allow it to come into your mind. Breathe deeply and imagine that you are drawing in pure white light from the Clear Quartz crystal above your head. Relax and let go of all thoughts to the best of your ability. Be open to answers, impressions, and information coming into your consciousness from a higher source. Honor and trust what you are getting.
