With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, many of us have love on our minds. Whether we are looking for that special someone, or trying to perfect the love that is already in our lives, healing crystals and minerals can help us achieve that.

The Love Triad--Rhodonite, Rhodochrosite, & Rose Quartz

Individually, these stones are considered the “must have” stones for anyone seeking to bring love and romance into their lives. Each stone has a different kind of energy for healing and love, but each one is a powerful “activator” for the Heart Chakra. When used together, the healing energy of each stone is increased--think of it as a kind of broad-spectrum antibiotic for matters of the heart!

Rhodonite        

Rhodonite usually appears in shades of pinks and rosy reds, with rich veins of black, and can help to balance yin-yang energies in ourselves. It is a very powerful stone, and useful for opening the Heart Chakra, proving energy when our emotions are at low ebb, and clearing away blockages such as resentment or insecurity. It not only helps us receive Unconditional Love, but give it as well!

Rhodochrosite

The “Stone of Love and Balance,” with its lovely bands delicate pinks and roses, emits pure love energy, radiating throughout the Universe, the Earth, and ourselves. It works to connect us to that energy, opening new doors to new worlds where we are surrounded by that Love Energy. By clearing and balancing the Root, Sacral, and Heart Chakras, it helps us take maintain healthy relationships not only with others, but also with ourselves. It can help dispel confusion when we don’t know how we feel, or how that certain someone feels about us!

Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz has been prized as a “Stone of Love and Compassion” for ages, and for good reason! Its gentle and calming energy removes negativity and restores harmony.

It restores emotional balance, and promotes healing of emotional wounds, which can hinder our ability to love and be loved. By balancing the love energies in the Crown, Third Eye, Throat and Heart Chakras, it helps us to literally “receive, perceive, communicate and feel” the love of ourselves and those we cherish.

As you can see, each of these are powerful love stones in their own right! By working with these stones together, a wonderful synergy is formed that enhances each stone’s unique properties. Each of the chakras are cleared, activated, and balanced, with a triple emphasis on the Heart Chakra.

Morganite

This charming beryl has prismatic qualities, and is pretty either as a tumbled or polished stone, or faceted to reveal its lovely pink hues. It not only brings love into our life, but acts as a powerful “fertilizer” for loving relationships--quite simply, it helps the seeds of love grow into full bloom! Carnelian

In the West, this deep red chalcedony is useful for dispelling apathy, giving one a zest for life, and increased vitality. It strengthens the loving bonds between a parent and child, while neutralizing negativity and anger in the home. Because of this, it is a useful healing crystal when we want to re-ignite the spark in a relationship that may be waining or has hit a rough spot. In the East, carnelian is considered something like an aphrodisiac, activating and energizing the Sacral Chakra, and is used to increase virility, sexuality and passion.

Stilbite with Apophylite

When these amazing and beautiful stones form together, their individual properties combine to make a “super stone” that works on the higher planes of our consciousness and our connection to the Universe. This combination is sought after as the “Crystal of Soul Mates,” and with good reason! It helps us to prepare ourselves for our Highest Love, clearing away and resolving past issues, while at the same time, drawing our Soul Mate to us (or revealing them, if they are already there but we have not recognized them yet).
