Angelite, also known as Blue Anhydrite,a mineral formed from the compression on Celestite over a a long period of time, and is named for its angelic appearance found in Peru. Angelite is a calcium sulfate mineral with an orthorhombic crystal system and a hardness of 3.5, with color ranges from white-grey, blue-grey, pale blue, brownish and even rose color.

In retrospect, might have preferred the 40mm version, since the 30mm is slightly over an inch in diameter, but the larger costs over twice the price of the 30mm. Still, a beautiful piece from Indonesia. This plus another from Morocco came well-packaged and quickly from Austin, TX. Thanks!
