What is Frangipani?

Frangipani is an aroma derived from the tropical flowering tree known as Plumeria, also known as the Hawaiian Lei flower and considered sacred in certain tropical nations. The oil from the flower has been used in perfumes such as Chanel & Versace, soaps, candles, and potpourris since the 16th century.
