Mary, Jesus' mother, is widely known as the Undoer of Knots. She is presented to the Catholic Community as immaculate, our advocate, helper in moments of affliction, Mother of God. Chosen by God as a crusher of evil, Mary stands for victory, peace, blessings and reconciliation. Her goal is to undo the knots in everyone's lives so that we can all achieve eternal happiness. These knots represent the problems or hard times we may come across in our lives and Mary works hard to help us overcome them. Our Lady knows all about us as individuals. She is compassionate with a strong determination to help save us from our sins, praying for each one of us as we pray to her. Pope Francis is known to have a strong devotion to Our Lady, Immaculate Mary, Undoer of knots. He encourages all to honor her and he himself prays the Novena of Mary Undoer of Knots each evening.

By remaining forever our Mother, you put in order and make more clear the ties that link us to the Lord. Holy Mother, to you who untie with motherly heart the knots of our life, we pray to you to receive into your hands our intentions and to free us of the knots and confusion with which our enemy attacks. Through your grace, your intercession and your example, deliver us from evil, Our Lady, and untie the knots that prevent us from being untied with God, so that we, free from sin and error, may find Him in all things, may have our hearts placed in Him, and may serve Him always in our brothers and sisters.
