Selenite is a hydrous calcium sulfate mineral with a monoclinic crystal system and a Moh's Hardness Level of 2 making it particularly soft and easy to break but can be difficult to shape and polish. Selenite is a form of gypsum and is typically seen in translucent clear or opaque white and on rare occasions an orange or peach color. 

Selenite; many people use Selenite as a cleansing crystal, but very few people tend to mention that it's also a very high-frequency vibrational crystal.
